Down to Earth at The Planet
Protest literature meets customers the moment they make it to the top step of The Planet retail store on South University in Ann Arbor.
On a table next to a helmeted, blood-splattered mannequin, you'll see pamphlets on fair-trade coffee, instant run-off elections and a variety of other causes.
The Planet is a shop. For sale are hats, gloves, jewelry, shirts, shoes, stickers, books, magazines, music and more. But its owner, Adam de Angeli, admits he hopes it will become a place to share ideas, gather and organize.
